People v. Leavenworth. 12PDJ083. November 20, 2012. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a conditional admission of misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Loyal E. Leavenworth (Attorney Registration Number 06696) for sixty days, with the requirement of reinstatement pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.29(c), stayed upon successful completion of a three-year period of probation, with conditions, effective November 20, 2012. On January 27, 2011, Leavenworth pled guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to two years of probation. He was released from probation in the spring of 2012. This was Leavenworth’s third conviction for an alcohol-related offense. His misconduct constitutes grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 8.4(b).
