People v. Hudson. 09PDJ036. April 29, 2009. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Deborah J. Hudson (Attorney Registration No. 36973) from the practice of law for a period of sixty days, effective April 29, 2009. In two matters, Respondent failed to competently represent her clients and failed to adequately communicate with them. In one of the two matters, a case was lost on summary judgment without the client’s knowledge. In the remaining matters, Respondent failed to carry through with her client’s representation at a mediation hearing and another matter was dismissed causing unnecessary delay. Respondent’s misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3 and 1.4(a).
