The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and publicly censured Steven J. Hartzog (Attorney Registration Number 18829), effective January 18, 2012. Hartzog resides in Texas, is on inactive status with the Colorado Supreme Court, and does not currently practice law in Colorado. Hartzog pled guilty to, and was convicted of, attempted possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, in the State of Texas. His misconduct constitutes grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 8.4(b) and C.R.C.P. 251.5(h).
