People v. Hall. 11PDJ038. July 12, 2011. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved an Amended Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Todd J. Hall (Attorney Registration Number 33281) for a period of nine months, all stayed upon the successful completion of a three-year period of probation, with conditions, effective July 12, 2011. Respondent recklessly violated duties he owed to his client of communication and diligence by failing to obtain a timely discharge in his client’s bankruptcy matter, thereby causing his client to expend his own time and resources to resolve the errors resulting from Respondent’s misconduct. In a second client matter, Respondent failed to respond to a pending motion for summary judgment, resulting in judgment being entered against his client. Respondent’s misconduct constitutes grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4(a)(3) and (4).
