People v. Dana Marie Fragakis. 21PDJ069. October 5, 2021.
The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved the parties’ stipulation to reciprocal discipline and suspended Dana Marie Fragakis (attorney registration number 50482) for ninety days, with conditions. The suspension took effect October 5, 2021.
On August 12, 2021, the Supreme Court of Florida accepted discipline by conditional guilty plea and consent judgment, suspending Fragakis from the practice of law for ninety days, with conditions. The sanction was premised on Fragakis’s violation of the rules regulating the Florida bar by making a false statement or with reckless disregard to its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a candidate for election or appointment to judicial office. She was also sanctioned for failing to comply with applicable provisions of Florida’s Code of Judicial Conduct.
Through this conduct, Fragakis engaged in conduct constituting grounds for reciprocal discipline under C.R.C.P. 242.21, which calls for imposition of the same discipline as that imposed in Florida.
The case file is public per C.R.C.P. 242.41(a)(2).
