People v. Elsom. 10PDJ009. January 28, 2010. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended William Daniel Elsom (Attorney Registration No. 20496) from the practice of law for a period of two years, effective January 28, 2010. On July 2, 2008, the Wyoming Supreme Court suspended Respondent from the practice of law for a period of two years following a conviction for conspiracy to commit sales of unregistered securities, a felony under federal law and a violation of ยง18 of the Disciplinary Code for the Wyoming State Bar. Respondent thereafter failed to report his suspension to the People. His misconduct therefore constituted grounds for the imposition of reciprocal discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.21(a) and violated C.R.C.P. 251.20(b), C.R.C.P. 251.21(b), Colo. RPC 3.4(c), and Colo. RPC 8.4(d).
