People v. Donadio, No. 99PDJ037, 9/9/99. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge accepted the parties’ Conditional Admission of Misconduct and suspended respondent, Bruce J. Donadio, from the practice of law for a period of eighteen months followed by a probationary period of eighteen months subject to certain conditions. Respondent violated certain criminal laws of the State of Colorado in violation of Colo. RPC 8.4(h); neglected legal matters in violation of Colo. RPC 1.3; failed to communicate with his clients in violation of Colo. RPC 1.4(a) and (b); failed to safeguard the property of a third party in violation of Colo. RPC 1.15(a); failed to keep separate funds in which he and a third party claimed an interest in violation of Colo. RPC 1.15(c), and terminated representation of a client without reasonably protecting the client’s interests in violation of Colo. RPC 1.16(d). Respondent was ordered to pay the costs of the disciplinary proceedings.
