People v. Blumenthal. 08PDJ060 and 09PDJ029. June 9, 2009. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Thomas Blumenthal (Attorney Registration No. 15549) from the practice of law for a period of sixty days, all stayed upon the successful completion of a three-year period of probation, effective June 9, 2009. Respondent knowingly engaged in at least seven separate instances of unprofessional conduct towards opposing counsel, court security personnel, court staff, and judicial officers. Respondent’s misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 3.5(d), 4.4(a), 8.4(d), and 8.4(h).
