People v. Bartlett, No. 04PDJ052. June 7, 2004. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved the parties’ Conditional Admission of Misconduct and suspended Respondent Melinda J. Bartlett, attorney registration number 27208, from the practice of law in the State of Colorado, effective July 8, 2004, for a period of sixty days, all stayed upon successful completion of a one-year period of probation. The Respondent pled guilty to third degree assault, a misdemeanor, for making threatening statements to a neighbor upon learning the neighbor reported a domestic violence occurrence between Respondent and her boyfriend. Respondent’s conduct violated Colo. RPC 8.4(b). Respondent was ordered to pay costs in this proceeding and comply with other conditions.
