People v. Tuthill and Neztsosie, No. GC98B95 (consolidated with GC98B96), 7/30/99. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge accepted the parties’ Conditional Admission of Misconduct regarding Respondent Cherie Daut Netzsosie only, suspending her from the practice of law for one year and one day with all but ninety days of the suspension stayed during a two year period of probation subject to certain conditions. Respondent failed to comply with C.R.C.P. Chapter 23.3, the rule governing contingent fees, neglected legal matters including failing to files responses to orders to show cause, and failed to keep clients reasonably informed in violation of Colo. RCP 1.3, Colo. RCP 1.4(a), Colo. RCP 1.5(c), Colo. RCP 8.4(a), and Colo. RCP 8.4(d). Respondent was ordered to pay costs of the disciplinary proceeding.
