People v. Sigley, No. 01PDJ081. 4.04.02. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved the parties’ Conditional Admission of Misconduct and suspended Respondent, Randolph Sigley, from the practice of law for a period of thirty days, with the full period of suspension stayed. In one matter, respondent engaged in an argument with a couple in a vehicle, pounding on their vehicle and making an offensive gesture. In a separate matter, respondent entered into a guilty plea and received a deferred sentence on charges of false reporting and possession of a handgun while intoxicated, and in another matter, respondent pled guilty to charges of menacing and disorderly conduct involving an offensive word or gesture, and received a one year deferred sentence. Respondent failed to report both of these criminal convictions to the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel. Respondent’s conduct violated C.R.C.P. 251.20(b), C.R.C.P. 251.5(b), and Colo. RPC 8.4(b). Respondent was ordered to pay the costs of the disciplinary proceeding.
