People v. Sanchez. 08PDJ112. February 25, 2009. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Gordon D. Sanchez (Attorney Registration No. 12919) from the practice of law for a period of one year and one day, effective February 25, 2009. On October 31, 2008, Respondent pled guilty to tax evasion in violation of 26 U.S.C. §7201 and 18 U.S.C. §2. He was sentenced to four years of probation for his criminal conviction. The PDJ considered significant factors in mitigation in approving this stipulation. Respondent’s misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 8.4(b) and C.R.C.P. 251.5(b).
