People v. Pomeranz. 10PDJ007. July 15, 2010. Attorney Regulation. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Alan Joel Pomeranz (Attorney Registration No. 11778) from the practice of law for a period of one year and one day, all but ninety days stayed upon the successful completion of a two-year period of probation, effective August 16, 2010. Respondent negligently failed to provide diligent representation to a client in criminal and administrative matters. He also knowingly failed to communicate with his client and negligently failed to properly handle his client’s funds. His misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4, 1.15(a), and 1.15(j).
