People v. Titus Dutton Peterson. 15PDJ053. July 10, 2015. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved the parties’ conditional admission of misconduct and suspended Titus Dutton Peterson (Attorney Registration Number 19926) from the practice of law for a period of sixty days, all stayed upon the completion of a one-year period of probation. The probation took effect July 10, 2015.

Peterson revealed client confidences in a motion to withdraw from his client’s case. This conduct violated Colo. RPC 1.6(a) (a lawyer shall not reveal information related to the representation of a client). In another matter, Peterson advanced his client settlement funds from his operating account in violation of Colo. RPC 1.8(e) (a lawyer shall not provide financial assistance to a client in connection with pending or completed litigation).
