The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a conditional admission of misconduct submitted by the parties and disbarred David Donder Pavek (Attorney Registration Number 16142), effective November 26, 2012. Pavek used $217,417.00 belonging to the company of which he was CEO for non-business-related purposes. On May 24, 2012, he pled guilty to one count of theft of $1,000.00-$20,000.00, a class four felony. He was sentenced to six years in the Department of Corrections, with three years of parole. Pavek’s misconduct constitutes grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 8.4(b) and 8.4(c).
